I work with my clients to gain clarity around what their destination may be - whether a physical goal - e.g. improving communication within a relationship or more of a feeling, e.g. gaining a sense of peace around a certain situation. We then work together to explore the barriers preventing them from achieving these goals and identify what needs to change. Finally I support my clients in implementing these changes using a solution focused approach.

About me and my practice

I am a couples therapist and work with individuals too. I am trained in short term intervention work. This means that I can deliver counselling via 30 minute chats (individuals only) and one hour one off sessions (individuals and couples). Equally I am able to work with clients on an ongoing basis.

Experience

I have worked for Relate for 6 years. I have experience of working with people in many different types of relationship including married, living together or apart, LGBTQIA+, non monogamous and everything in between. I have experience of working with a range of different topics including mental and physical illness, loss, neurodiversity, low self esteem, sexual identity and child hood experience. I have experience of a range of relationship issues including communication, conflict and sex.
